- 1000 Guided Meditations – This app provides guided meditations, wellness programs, and looping sounds, allowing you to create a playlist for frequent listening. There are guided meditations on an array of topics, including addiction, anger, balance, calm and relaxation, confidence, depression, headaches, and many more. This app includes in-app purchases and can be found on Google Play Store and iPhone.
- Abide – This is a Christian Meditation app with meditation guides that cover many different issues, such as anxiety, anger, depression, fear, guidance, healing, hope, love, marriage, men, parenting, sleep, women, and much more. There are a lot of good features that can be tried out for free, but there are in-app purchases. This app can be found on both iPhone and Google Play Store.
- Alive – This app allows you to record how you are feeling and offers suggestions and programs to help improve your mood. This app includes a mood checker where you can enter your positive and negative emotions. Additionally, Alive includes graphs as a visual means to see your progress. Alive can be found on Google Play Store.
- Atmosphere/ Atmosphere Binaural Therapy/ Lullaby – Binaural beats are auditory brain-stem responses resulting from two different auditory impulses or sounds heard from each ear. These beats train the brain to resonate at the frequency of an external stimulus. These beats help the listener relieve depression or anxiety, maintain focus, concentration, relax, and/or sleep. These apps are designed to be listened to with earbuds or headphones. In addition to the binaural beats, other sounds (e.g., waterfall, rain, thunderstorm, construction, traffic, Tibetan bells, melodic pieces) can be layered on top to create a unique experience for the listener. This app can be found on both iPhone and Google Play Store and offers in-app purchases to remove ads.
- Audiojoy – This app provides a wide range of meditations, binaural beats, informational messages, classes, soundscapes, etc., on many different topics. Topics include personal development, health and wellness, self-help and addiction, lifestyle and career, mind and body, interesting and entertaining, spirituality, and religion. To open up all the content is $15. Audiojoy can be found on Google Play Store and iPhone.
- Binaural Beats – This app provides only the binaural beat described above. There are no sounds to be layered over the binaural sound wave. This app offers healing, learning, meditation, sleep, stimulation, hypnosis, and out-of-body experience of binaural beat sound waves. This app is free and can be found on Google Play Store.
- Brain Wave Therapy – This app offers melodic, relaxing music layered over the binaural beat sound waves for sleep (delta), meditation (theta), relaxation/ sense of peace (alpha), concentration/motivation/energy/peace (beta), and memory function/senses stimulation (gamma). This app is free and can be found on Google Play Store.
- Calm – This meditation app uses music and sounds to provide a unique meditative experience to enable the listener to breathe, relax, or sleep. Calm also provides sleep stories and masterclasses to help listeners to learn the art of meditation. Calm is a subscription service that offers monthly, yearly, and lifetime subscriptions. They do have free offerings for new listeners to try out. This app can be found on iPhone and Google Play Store.
- Daily Burst – This app provides quick little bursts of inspiration into your day to help keep you inspired and encouraged. Daily Burst can be found on Google Play Store and iPhone.
- Day Stress Relief – This is a great app for those who have a hard time staying focused on deep breathing. Day Stress Relief can be found on the Google Play Store.
- Enliven – This app provides daily motivational quotes with soft ambient music for meditation. Enliven can only be found on Google Play Store.
- Fabulous – This app aims to help reset your habits and help you form healthier habits, transform your life, and rewire your brain to be more productive and stress-free. Fabulous can be found in the Google Play Store and offers in-app purchases to obtain further content.
- First 5 – This is a Christian devotional app that offers a new devotional every day or allows the reader to choose from a list of devotionals on varying topics. Some devotionals offered are by topic, and others are based on books of the Bible. This app is free and can be found on iPhone and Google Play Store.
- Free Guided Meditation – This is a guided meditation app that offers meditations to help with sleep, smoking cessation, confidence, job advisory, relaxation, dealing with money worry, recharging your energy, overcoming stress from flying, inner peace, depression, motivation, decision making, exam stress, improving relationships, loneliness, stress management, boosting study energy, nature meditation, positive thinking, and weight loss. Guided meditations are great for those who are new to meditating or have difficulty staying focused. These meditations help the listener focus on a specific place or imagine a peaceful environment. Often these environments are described for the listener, and the listener is guided to a safe relaxing place in their mind. This app is free and can be found on Google Play Store. Unfortunately, there is no iPhone version of this app; however, there may be a compatible app on iPhone.

This app can be found on iPhone and Google Play Store.
- iDisciple – This is a Christian app that offers daily devotionals, music, and videos on a variety of life themes from some of the top authors and musicians in Christian entertainment. Life themes include but are not limited to, adoption and foster care, Bible, career, kids, outreach, life challenges, marriage, men, finances, parenting, prayer, purpose, relationships, spiritual growth, and women. - Meditation and Relaxation: Guided Meditation: This app provides 7 to 14-day guided meditation sessions on a variety of topics such as sleep, forgiveness, stress relief, self-esteem, calm, loving yourself, etc. Single sessions of guided meditation are also available. Programs are available for those at all meditation skill levels. This app provides in-app purchases and can be found on Google Play Store and iPhone.
- Motivational Quotes Wallpaper – This app features motivational quotes on various subjects such as life, love, strength, struggle, business, friendship, family, students, and kids. Favorite images can be saved for later or shared with someone who is in need of uplifting. This app can be found on Google Play Store.
- My Affirmations – This app allows the user to create images out of various messages of affirmation. The app also allows users to create notifications for affirmations to be sent to their phones at various times of the day. Affirmation subjects include health, success, confidence, happiness, self-esteem, public speaking, positive thinking, creativity, weight loss, relationships, and wealth. This app can be found on Google Play Store.
- Our Daily Bread – This app provides notifications for Christian daily devotionals based on the print version of Our Daily Bread. Additionally, this app offers reading plans, a journal, and resources. The app is free, but if additional formats are needed (i.e., print or email), there is a fee. This app can be found on iPhone and Google Play Store.
- Power of Positive Thinking Daily Cards – This app is based on Norman Vincent Peale’s book The Power of Positive Thinking. Settings allow the user to be notified of a new card each day. This app is free and can be found on Google Play Store.
- Surf City Apps – This is a collection of scripted hypnotherapy apps on various topics people struggle with on a daily basis: depression, anxiety, mindfulness, procrastination, eating, etc. Individual results vary depending on how the apps are used. These apps can be used for free or a nominal fee; a hypnosis booster can be added. These apps can be found on iPhone and Google Play Store.
- You Version Holy Bible – This app not only features many versions of the Bible (i.e., NIV, NKJV, NASB, ESV, NLT, to name a few), but also offers devotionals on multiple topics [depression, anxiety, fear, doubt, marriage, spiritual growth], social media sharing, videos, and audio Bible (for some versions). The user can highlight, make notes, bookmark, and create verse images to share on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or other social media.
